Motion Twin, co-developer of the Metroidvania roguelite game Dead Cells, released their action roguelite Windblown through Steam Early Access for PC last month. This action roguelite was first announced at The Game Awards 2023 before it was launched through Early Access, as it's currently slated for a Q4 2025 release.
This gives the developer plenty of time to continuously work on the game using player feedback to improve overall gameplay quality and experience. As it has been almost two weeks since its Early Access release, the game is discounted on Steam until 7th November 2024, when they have until the same date to claim an exclusive skin.
Time is almost running out for players to unlock their free exclusive skin for the action roguelite game Windblown on PC. They have until 7th November 2024 to grab the game and jump into some intense gameplay action to unlock the exclusive Intern skin, which they can use to change their Leaper's appearance in-game.
As mentioned previously, the game is discounted via Steam until the date mentioned above to add the game to their existing Steam library. From there, they can jump into single-player or co-op multiplayer action and have fun solo or with friends before unlocking the skin, whose design may be familiar to Dead Cells fans.
Recently, the developer addressed the community after a Known Issue regarding the Sudden Death feature was identified. The developer recently updated players via the game's Steam News page that they'll be testing out different variations to eventually "lock down what works best without losing the intended feeling around the mechanic."
They'll discuss this and plenty more related topics in a scheduled Ask Me Anything (AMA) session on their official Discord server on 5th November 2024 at 10 am PT / 1 pm ET / 5 pm GMT. Furthermore, the developer will answer "questions about the game, the overall project, and some key talking points since launch!"
