Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 blew us away in May with a brilliant trailer during an Inside Xbox presentation. Since developer Hardsuit Labs have been relatively quiet for the past several months, however, fans may have already expected a delay announcement. Now, it is official: Vampire: Bloodlines 2 has been delayed until next year.
Vampire: Bloodlines 2 delayed
Vampire: Bloodlines 2 originally had a release date window of 2019 but was later moved to a release date window of 2020. Unfortunately for those who can't wait to dive back into the World of Darkness, Vampire: Bloodlines 2 has been delayed for the second time.
Developer Hardsuit Labs and publisher Paradox Interactive took to Twitter to announce the news, explaining how they needed more time to ensure the best possible player experience via the official Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines 2 Twitter account.

Hardsuit Labs and Paradox Interactive explain: "Our goal has always been to deliver the best game possible, to immerse you into a Seattle re-imagined in the World of Darkness, and deliver a worthy successor to the original Bloodlines game.
"Due to the quality bar and ambitions we have set for ourselves, we have made the difficult decision that we need more time."
The developer continues by noting how "in the coming months" they will share more information on the launch timing, as well as organizational changes to help them achieve their goal.
Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 is in development for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X. It is expected to now release sometime in 2021. At the time of writing, there is no exact release date for Vampire: Bloodlines 2.
