In the game, you fight against the SCP staff of the infinite furniture store you're stuck in, determined to stay alive as long as possible using the weapons you've crafted from nearby debris.

There is currently no set release date for The Store Is Closed, though developers met their goal on Kickstarter, meaning the game will be developed and published.

The Store Is Closed will be available on PC, Xbox Series X|S and PS5.

The Store Is Closed Kickstarter was released in early September 2022, asking for $11,231 to develop the game.

Within just a few weeks, the Kickstarter has accumulated $25,412 - over double its goal - with over 530 backers. This means that the game has been fully funded and will be developed.

The Kickstarter has reached several of its stretch goals, meaning that a variety of new features will be implemented before release. This includes customizable grocery carts, grappling hooks, parachutes, and more.
