The Division Resurgence is an upcoming free-to-play mobile game set in The Division universe.
The game recently completed its first closed alpha, and while the official release is still pretty far away, we have got some brand new story details and gameplay snippets to go through.
The latest batch of The Division Resurgence info comes from Gamespot's Swipe Mobile Showcase. With that said, let's get right into all the new details on The Division Resurgence.
The Division Resurgence's timeline revealed
The Division Resurgence's story kicks off before the events of The Division 1. However, the bulk of the story takes place between the events of The Division 1 and The Division 2.
The game takes players back to New York City, primarily because the developers wanted to capture "the vibe of The Division 1."
Similar to The Division 1, players will be able to explore and complete missions around notable landmarks, including the Statue of Liberty.
The Division Resurgence - The Demolitionist & Bulwark class gameplay revealed
For the first time since revealing The Division Resurgence walkthrough trailer in July, Ubisoft has revealed new gameplay for its upcoming free-to-play title, including a glimpse at a mission set around the iconic Statue of Liberty.
The gameplay trailer, as published by Gamespot, also gives us another look at the two of the six classes that are coming to The Division Resurgence at launch.
As players would notice, The Demolitionist uses a heavy gun and specializes in dealing AOE damage. On the other hand, The Bulwark is the tank class in The Division Resurgence, which allows players to deploy shields and use Shotguns in close quarters.
