The Texas Chain Saw Massacre is one of the most iconic horror movie series ever, so much so that one of its most iconic characters, Bubba Sawyer, has even joined the killers in Dead by Daylight.

But it seems that Dead by Daylight won't be the only modern game to include characters from the iconic series. It won't even be the only 4v1 asymmetrical horror game to include them.

The Texas Chain Saw Massacre Game

The Texas Chain Saw Massacre Game will allow players to take on a member of the Slaughter family or one of their victims, pitting them against one another in a 4v1 asymmetrical horror experience based on the hit Texas Chain Saw Massacre franchise. 

The game will be developed by Sumo Digital and published by Gun Interactive.

It will be available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC upon release.

The Texas Chain Saw Massacre Game Characters

A few playable victims have already been unveiled, including characters called Julie, Leland, Connie, Sonny, and Ana. Each of them has a particular strong suit; for example, Ana is the group's natural leader, while Leland is physically strong and experienced in wrestling.

Players will also be able to take on the role of any one member of the Slaughter family, depending on their preference.

The Texas Chain Saw Massacre Game Release Date

There is currently no official release date for The Texas Chain Saw Massacre Game. The Steam page only says "TBA."

Reports suggest that the game will release sometime in 2023.
