Team17

From developer Windwalk Games (creators of Enemy on Board) and publisher Team17 comes SWORN, a brand-new co-op roguelike that blends and reimagines iconic medieval tales with fast-paced roguelike mechanics, delivering a gameplay experience reminiscent of Hades.

If you're eager to dive into this adventure, we've covered you with all the details, including the release date, key features, the currently playable demo, and much more.

SWORN Release Date: February 6, 2025

SWORN is set to officially release on Steam on February 6, 2025. While the PC release is confirmed, next-gen console versions (PS5, Xbox Series X, and Nintendo Switch) are expected later in 2025. Stay tuned for updates as we approach the launch.

SWORN Gameplay Details

SWORN offers a fresh take on the roguelike genre as a 1-4 player co-op experience where you reclaim a fallen Camelot in a dark reimagining of Arthurian legend. Players take on the role of warriors bound by an oath to cleanse the corrupted King Arthur and his Knights of the Round Table. Combining the unique medieval theme with a roguelike gameplay loop creates a thrilling and immersive experience (similar to Hades's approach).

Abilities and details

Staying true to its theme, players can gain powerful abilities bestowed by the Fae Lords, which the developers promise will offer thousands of build possibilities. Along the way, you'll encounter iconic figures like Merlin and Nimue, who contribute to the lore and may grant unique powers to aid your quest.

For solo players, SWORN also fully supports single-player campaigns, making it perfect for those who prefer to tackle roguelikes at their own pace.

SWORN Demo Now Available

While the official release is still a few weeks away, a demo is available now on Steam. Having played it myself, I can confidently say that if you're a fan of roguelikes like Hades, SWORN will scratch that itch.

With the February launch drawing closer, we’ll keep a close eye on SWORN. Stay tuned for more information, guides, and updates as this medieval co-op roguelike makes its debut.
