Most fans of action RPG developer FromSoftware agree that Bloodborne is one of the best games in the company’s lineup. However, there’s also a shared belief that a Bloodborne remaster or PC port isn’t likely to happen anytime soon - if ever. Now, FromSoftware is stirring the waters again, as a recent survey from the company hints at a possible Bloodborne sequel, even asking players if they’d be interested in playing it. Here’s what we know.
FromSoftware Asks Players If They Would Be Interested in a Bloodborne Sequel in Recent Nightwing Survey
The recent Elden Ring: Nightreign network test gave players a glimpse of what to expect when the game launches and many are already sharing their impressions. However, after the test concluded, participants received a survey, and one question in particular reignited hope for a Bloodborne continuation.

The survey asked if players would be interested in a Bloodborne sequel (if one were to happen), which, as expected, sent fans into a frenzy. Twitter user Nightreign Countdown shared a screenshot of the question, excitedly stating, "SO YOU'RE TELLING ME THERE'S A CHANCE." While the excitement is understandable, there are a few important caveats to remember.
First, the survey didn’t focus solely on Bloodborne. It also asked about interest in sequels for other FromSoftware franchises, including Dark Souls 2 (I know, right?). So, rather than a clear signal that a Bloodborne sequel is imminent, it seems more like FromSoftware is gauging overall interest in their catalog after Nightreign.
That said, the fact that Bloodborne made the survey list at all (when it could have easily been omitted) suggests the game is at least on their radar. Plus, with an "Extra Comments" section, fans now have a direct channel to express their desire for a sequel, reboot, or remake. With the game's tenth anniversary approaching, there’s reason to stay hopeful for news on the fate of Bloodborne.
