While the specific abilities haven’t been fully discussed, it looks like we’ll be able to unleash barrages of munitions, explosives, energy attacks, melee strikes, and more on our enemies. But what's most exciting is that you can try the game now (in a limited capacity).
The developers have launched a 10-day closed playtest, which begins today. Players can sign up via the Wargaming Game Center or on Steam. If you're quick, you could jump in this weekend and get an early look at what Steel Hunters has to offer before its official release, which has yet to be announced.
The open beta for Steel Hunters will launch in Spring 2025, so if you miss the closed beta, you'll still have a chance to check it out early next year. The game will initially be released on PC, with plans to come to consoles at a later date. We’ll be sure to keep you updated as we learn more!
