An unannounced title called Star Wars: Project Maverick may be set for an official reveal soon, according to a new leak.
A data mining Twitter bot PSNrelease, which flags new arrivals to the PlayStation Store, has uncovered artwork for a mysterious title Star Wars: Project Maverick on the EU store.
Nothing else is detailed about the title, although recent reports suggest there’s a number of Star Wars games currently in development.

In a report from Kotaku, both a sequel to Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order and a “smaller, more unusual project” from EA Motive are claimed to be in development – so could Project Maverick be the latter?
Jason Schreier, who wrote the report, has since confirmed he’s known about the game’s existence in response to the tweet.

Reports from earlier this year also claimed a reboot of Knights Of The Old Republic is in the pipeline, alongside an unannounced Nintendo Switch title.
It’s unclear what exactly Project Maverick could be, although the picture of a lone Imperial Star Destroyer indicates this would take place around the original Star Wars trilogy era.
Interestingly, Resident Evil 3 was leaked in a similar fashion before an official announcement by bot Gamstat, who have even linked to PSNrelease as a better method of tracking listings.
GINX TV has reached out to EA for comment.
