Many Star Wars games were canceled in the past decade, but this one hits fans the most. And it hits even harder now with this new leak.

Canceled projects are not a rare thing when it comes to Star Wars video games. In fact, in the last couple of years, we've seen more cancelations then releases of the Star Wars games.

But one, much earlier project, fans still can't get over it. We're talking about Star Wars 1313. This game was first introduced back in 2012, on the E3. In it, we were supposed to take the role of the legendary bounty hunter Boba Fett navigating Level 1313.

The game was planned to feature a combination of cover-based combat, platform gameplay, and "playable cinematic gameplay."

On top of that, it was planned to have M(Mature) rating, which means it would have dealt with serious and dark topics, as opposed to the usual, more lighthearted tone of the Star Wars franchise.

Everything seemed like a dream come true for hard-core Star Wars fans. After E3, the game continued to be in development for several months, but then Disney happened. Geroge Lucas sold Star Wars to Disney, and the project simply stopped. Soon, Disney sold the exclusivity license to EA for 10 years, and the rest is history.

Eight years later, a screenshot from the game finally emerges, in which we see Coruscant in its full glory.

With the success that Jedi: Fallen Order have made, we can only hope that EA will realize that people are still craving for good, single-player Star Wars titles and that we'll have a chance to go onto new adventures soon.
