If you want to get in on the fun and try out Slime Rancher 2 on Early Access through Steam, you'll need to ensure that your computer can run it. Here is everything you need to know about the PC requirements for Slime Rancher 2, including how they compare to the first game.

Slime Rancher 2 isn't an extremely heavy game, meaning that most modern computers, especially those optimized for gaming, should have no problem running it.

Here are the exact PC specs you'll need for Slime Rancher 2 to run on your computer, including both the minimum and recommended setup.

  • Requires a 64-bit processor and operating system
  • OS: Windows 10 64-bit
  • Processor: Intel Core i5-2500K / AMD FX-6300
  • Memory: 8 GB RAM
  • Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 960 2GB / AMD Radeon R9 280 3GB
  • DirectX: Version 11
  • Storage: 8 GB available space
Recommended:

  • Memory: 16 GB RAM

You'll only need 8GB of RAM to run the game, but 16 GB is recommended to run the game smoothly; these requirements are pretty generous, meaning that even some low-end computers may be able to run the game, if not super smoothly.

Still, these requirements are a little higher than the PC requirements for the original Slime Rancher, so just because your computer can run Slime Rancher doesn't mean it can run Slime Rancher 2.
