This last couple of days were very exciting for Resident Evil fans. Resident Evil 3 launched last Friday, as well as Resident Evil: Resistance. And yesterday, we got some intriguing rumours and "leaks" about the potential 8th instalment in the legendary series.
And now we got more news from the official sources in Capcom. They want to know if fans and players would be interested in more remakes of the old Resident Evil games, which would be (if we follow the chronological order) Resident Evil 4 or Code: Veronica remakes.
Set of questions was prepared for Asian players, but luckily there was also an option to choose the English language so that we can read the questions. There are three pages of User Survey, and while most of them are focused on players experience with the current Resident Evil titles (RE 3 Remake and Resistance), last two questions are asking fans if they would buy potential new remakes and new sequels.

"If a new remake title of "Resident Evil" series is released, would you like to purchase?" and "If a sequel of "Resident Evil" series is released, would you like to purchase?"
What's really interesting with these questions is that one of the options is "I will purchase the game even if I had to buy a new console." That means that they are targeting new releases for the new generation of consoles, which is to be expected since next-gen is planned for this autumn, and new Resident Evil games will probably come sometime in the next year. Although, this also means that they will try to still make them available for owners of the current generation of consoles.
