- Resident Evil 3 is getting a demo on Thursday 19th March
- There will also be a multiplayer beta for Resident Evil Resistance starting 27th March
- The full game releases on 3rd April
After announcing a demo was on the way, Capcom has revealed the release date for when you can get an early taste of Resident Evil 3 remake.
The demo will release on Thursday 19th March across PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Steam, ahead of its official full release on 3rd April.
Unlike the demo ahead of Resident Evil 2 remake's release, there's no mention of a countdown timer - so it sounds like it'll be replayable too.
Not only that, a beta for multiplayer mode Resident Evil Resistance will be available from 27th March as well.
Resident Evil Resistance is an asymmetrical co-op mode where four players as survivors go up against another player as the Mastermind - who plants traps and zombies to prevent the survivors from progressing through a sequence of puzzles.
It's surprising they're releasing a demo considering most people are likely already sold on the single-player campaign remake - but it's a promising sign they're confident about the multiplayer component too.
The original Resident Evil 3: Nemesis follows protagonists Jill Valentine and Carlos Oliveria, as they're hunted through Racoon City by Nemesis who is in constant pursuit.
It follows the success of Resident Evil 2 remake, which similarly had the terrifying Mr. X who chased Leon Kennedy and Claire Redfield through Racooon City's police station.
Resident Evil 3 releases on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC on 3rd April.
