Following the game's reveal in December last year, Capcom has confirmed a demo for Resident Evil 3 is on the way.
In a post on Twitter, the official Resident Evil account wrote: “It was written in the STARS... A Resident Evil 3 Demo is on the way.”
There was no information given on a release date, or whether it’ll be a single-player or multiplayer demo, but more details will likely be announced over the next week.]

A Resident Evil 3 Demo is on the way. We'll have more details in the near future! pic.twitter.com/wqN2AwI3pH
We'll update this post when more details are released.
Along with being a remake of Resident Evil 3 released in 1999, the new title features a separate multiplayer mode titled Project Resistance – an online assymetric four versus one game where a 'mastermind' sets traps and releases zombies on the co-op team.
The original Resident Evil 3: Nemesis follows protagonists Jill Valentine and Carlos Oliveria, as they're hunted through Racoon City by Nemesis who is in constant pursuit.
It follows the success of Resident Evil 2 remake, which similarly had the terrifying Mr. X who chased Leon Kennedy and Claire Redfield through Racooon City's police station.
Multiplayer aside, the biggest question is how they'll adapt Nemesis to be different from Mr. X - considering his mechanics were heavily incorporated into Resident Evil 2 remake.
Resident Evil 3 is set to be released on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC on 3 April 2020.
