The upcoming hack-n-slash action-adventure title, Stellar Blade, from Shift Up studio, has been delayed to 2024, PlayStation confirms.
In a new blog post, the Japanese publisher highlighted some of the notable titles coming to PlayStation consoles in 2024, including Stellar Blade.
Stellar Blade (also known as Project Eve) was initially scheduled to release in 2023. However, with no major updates throughout the year, it became increasingly evident that a delay was on the horizon.
Interestingly, outside of the update from PlayStation, there hasn't been any official announcement or press release from Shift Up itself. As such, it seems players will have to wait a little longer to find out more about the game.
As of this writing, Stellar Blade has no concrete release date, though it could likely be targeting an early 2024 release, given that most titles mentioned in the PlayStation's 2024 highlight article are releasing somewhere between January and June.
For those unaware, Stellar Blade is a high-octane action title set in a post-apocalyptic universe in which an alien faction, NA:tives, has taken over Earth. Players take control of Eve, as she and her squad fight against the enemies to reclaim Earth and restore peace. The game features stunning visuals and challenging combat with a strong emphasis on parrying and boss encounters.
