Nintendo Announced A 50 Million Yen Noto Peninsula Earthquake Relief Fund

Japanese publisher Nintendo joins other notable developers and publishers in providing relief funding following the catastrophic earthquake that impacted the Noto Peninsula. The earthquake, which erupted on 1st January 2024 (New Year's Day), saw countless lives lost, homes destroyed, and extensive damage to buildings, roads, and other landmarks as emergency rescue support was deployed, according to an updated AP News report.

As the Japanese Red Cross had already actively responded to the catastrophic disaster that hit Japan's west coast, notable developers and publishers have announced donations being made to the Japanese Red Cross.
