During Gamescom Opening Night Live, BioWare unveiled a first look at a new Dragon Age, the role-playing fantasy game franchise that was last seen with Dragon Age: Inquisition in 2014.
The teaser shows a few concept arts of the title, as several key members of the studio describe what can we expect for the untitled entry, which stills has no release date as Casy Hudson, Studio general manager, confirms it's still a project in early production.

Announced two years ago in 2018, this entry will let players "see new things, new places, and interact with people who lived and grew up in these spaces as well," according to producer Mark Darrah.

Narrative director John Epler also added that "the things you can expect in the next installment are going to be stories that focus on the people around you and the friends and family you've made."
Sadly, since all we're getting are small glimpses into the development process, slowed down even more by the COVID-19 pandemic, we don't expect Dragon Age to release in 2021.
We'll keep you updated on all things Dragon Age and BioWare as more information becomes available.
