MultiVersus - Roster leaks and news

Multiversus, the upcoming team-based fighting game from Player First Games seems to have suffered a major leak. The leak revealed numerous characters that the developers have planned to add to the game with future updates.

The game was in beta just a few weeks ago, giving a wider range of players across platforms a chance to check out the game before it releases globally. Now, a new leak has surfaced on Reddit which alleges to reveal all the characters arriving in the game in the future. Here's everything we know so far about the MultiVersus roster/character leak.

All Upcoming MultiVersus Characters Leaked

The leak surrounding the MultiVersus Characters comes via a Reddit post from u/Unserious-Sam00 in which the user seems to reveal the various characters planned to be added to the existing MultiVersus roster.  

As per the post, Rick Sanchez from the popular Rick and Morty animated show will be showing up in MultiVersus sometime later. The post mentions that there are "stills of Rick in-game," meaning there are character models of Rick in the game files.

The files also contain Rick's moveset and the post supports this leak by adding that Meeseeks, a character from the series is "literally in the game's tutorial." There are also stills and movesets of Gandalf the Gray from Lord of the Rings in the files as well as voice lines referring to the character.

Apart from these two, the post also mentions that there are voices of many characters found in the MultiVersus game files. The leak mentions that the following characters have been found in the files:

• The Tazmanian Devil - Looney Tunes
• Marvin the Martian - Looney Tunes
• LeBron James - Basketball player
• Raven - DC Comics/Teen Titan
• The Iron Giant

The Iron Giant was recently shown off by the developers in one of the game's trailers so it feels like others could make their way to the game as well. The leak even sheds light on all the characters mentioned in other voice lines or text and there are also files such as profile icons for a few games found in the game, this includes:

• Gizmo - Gremlins
• Morty Smith - Rick and Morty
• The Joker - DC Comics
• Wicked Witch of the West - The Wizard of Oz
• Craig Williams - Craig of the Creek
• Poison Ivy - DC Comics
• Black Adam - DC Comics
• Scooby-Doo - Scooby-Doo
• Static - Static Shock
• The Hound - Game of Thrones
• Daenerys Targaryen - Game of Thrones
• Beetlejuice
• Eleven - Stranger Things

Apart from this massive list of characters, there are also mentions of Godzilla, Johhny Bravo, and others in the post. WB has control over a massive library of franchises and could bring a lot of familiar faces to MultiVersus. However, without any official word from the devs, take all of this with a grain of salt.
