MomoCon 2025 has announced the first few special guests in its lineup, featuring prolific voice actors like Adam McArthur, Casey Mongillo, and Kira Buckland.
McArthur voices Jujutsu Kaisen's main protagonist, Yuji Itadori, while Mongillo is best known for his role as Shinji Ikari in 2019's Neon Genesis Evangelion dub. Buckland has played in a myriad of roles, but is best known for voicing Jolyne Cujoh in JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Stone Ocean and Mitsuri Kanroji in Demon Slayer.
All three also boast a long list of other credits in various anime, cartoons, video games, and more.
While Mongillo and Buckland will be first-time special guests, McArthur also attended the anime and gaming convention last year.
MomoCon quietly added the voice actors' names to their online Guest List, which says that "guests and professionals for 2025 are being added all the time," before making the announcement on social media. That said, it's pretty likely we'll hear some more guest announcements from the Atlanta, Georgia con soon as the 2025 event approaches.
Last year, MomoCon broke records by boasting its highest attendance ever, drawing in an impressive 55,8000 attendees throughout Memorial Day weekend. The 2025 event - which proclaims itself as "the largest gaming event in the Southeast" - will take place from May 22 – May 25, 2025 at the Georgia World Congress Center.
