2K Games, publisher of the much-beloved Mafia franchise, has teased a new title called Mafia: Trilogy, which considering there has been three Mafia games so far is surely a remastering of the previous games.
In a short teaser, we can clearly see and hear the three main characters from the game, all referencing that all too important term in Mafia circles - "Family".
Fans of the series will be particularly hyped about the opening of the trailer Tommy Angelo of the original Mafia, with his iconic trench coat and fedora (the cool gangster kind) and beautifully rendered rain and of course the stunning classic 1930's car.

The whole scene looks much improved compared to the original game which came out in 2002 which while an undoubted masterpiece does show it's age graphically.
According to the Xbox Store, the game dubbed Mafia: Definitive Edition, will come out on August 28th, with a promise of a "faithfully recreated" game, "with expanded story, gameplay and original score."

"Remastered in stunning HD detail, live the life of a gangster during the Golden-era of organized crime in America. War hero Vito Scaletta becomes entangled with the mob in hopes of paying his father's debts. Alongside his buddy Joe, Vito works to prove himself, quickly climbing the family ladder with crimes of larger reward, status, and consequence. However, the life of a wise guy isn't quite as untouchable as it seems."
The Xbox store all states the game runs at 4K, on the Xbox One, which promises to be a treat for the eyes.
