There's been a lot of news surrounding the Bendy and the Ink Machine franchise recently, with the announcement of not only several new games but also a movie based on the original title. One of the new games TheMeatly has promised is called Bendy: Lone Wolf, which the developer said today in an X post will have "rogue-like elements."
Another recent update also suggested that the game will be ported to mobile devices - both Android and iOS - after it's released on PC. This wouldn't be a first for a game in the Bendy franchise, with some of the other main-line Bendy games already available on mobile devices.
It seems that Bendy: Lone Wolf might be a remake or a re-release of Bendy and the Dark Survival, a top-down BATIM experience featuring Boris the Wolf. TheMeatly has said that Bendy: Lone Wolf will "absolutely" keep the top-down perspective, but that progress likely won't carry over from Bendy and the Dark Survival since the game will contain lots of major updates to the code.
Fans discovered the game's existence back in February, shortly after Joey Drew Studios filed an official trademark for Bendy: Lone Wolf. However, these have been the first major updates since that discovery.
For now, there's no official release date for Bendy: Lone Wolf. However, it seems like this game might be the next title in the Bendy and the Ink Machine to be slated for release, so be sure to stay tuned for updates.
