Getting onto the picnic table in Grounded allows you to access other locations in the game, and offers new players tons of resources.
You can peep several new creatures here too. That said, it isn't easy to climb the picnic table, especially if you're just getting started and haven't quite figured out how the game's environmental puzzles work.
That's why we've put together this quick guide to helping you climb the picnic table in Grounded.
How To Get On The Picnic Table In Grounded
Before you find your way to the Picnic Table, you'll need either a Bratburst or Splatburst to help you clear the path.

Once you have one of these on hand, make your way to the Leaning Shovel. You should already be somewhat familiar with this landmark, as you've likely passed it multiple times.
From there, you'll throw your Bratburst or Splatburst at the rock that props up the shovel. The shovel will fall over, creating a bridge for you to cross to get to the seats of the table. Go ahead and cross it and sit on the seats of the picnic table.
Now that you're on the seats, you'll need to climb up on the surface of the picnic table itself. This requires just a few more simple steps.
To get to the surface of the picnic table - where all of the action is - go to the Cooler Box and hit it with either a Black Ox Hammer or an Insect Hammer. Like the shovel, it will fall and give you access to the entire area of the Picnic Table.
As you find your way around the Grounded world, you'll find that you might also have trouble getting to other locations. If you need help getting anywhere else, be sure to check out our guide on getting into the Sandbox.
And those are all of the steps you need to take in order to climb the picnic table in Grounded.
