How to get Forza Horizon 5 early access

The next installment of the Forza Horizon franchise is less than a month away. As players prepare to make the trip to the location of the next Horizon Festival, Mexico, there is a way players can arrive there earlier.

With the game’s early access, players can arrive at the Horizon festival four days before everyone else. We break down what you need to know on how to play Forza Horizon 5 early, where you can gain access to the game’s early access feature and more.  

Forza Horizon 5: How to get early access

If you simply cannot wait until the game’s official launch on 9th November 2021, players will need to get early access to Forza Horizon 5. As there is no demo on the cards for Forza Horizon 5, this will be the only option to play and explore the new Horizon location early.

Forza Horizon 5’s early access comes included with the game’s Premium Edition only. With Early Access, players can make their trip to the Horizon Festival four days early than everyone else. To pre-order Forza Horizon 5: Premium Edition, players can reserve their copy on the Microsoft website for $100 which will be available to players on 5th November 2021.

Forza Horizon 5: Premium Edition

As early access is included exclusively with the Premium Edition of Forza Horizon 5, there is plenty of additional content that players can get with the game.

Included with a copy of Forza Horizon 5, players can “kick-start” their “ultimate Horizon adventure” with the game’s Welcome Pack. With the Welcome Pack, players will receive the following content:

• five specially pre-tuned cars available on launch day
• a player house also available on launch day
• once-off grant to buy any car available at the Autoshow
• three once-off grants to buy common or rare cosmetic items

Also included in the Forza Horizon 5 Premium Edition is the VIP Membership. This membership grants players exclusive bonus rewards in-game. Some of the VIP rewards include

• three exclusive Forza Edition cars gifted available on launch day
• Crown Flair, Vanity items, emotes and car horns
• gifted Player house
• double race Credit rewards
• bonus Super Wheelspins weekly and more.

The Premium Edition also includes the Forza Horizon 5 Car Pass which if owned, will add 42 extra cars to the game. 34 cars will be delivered to the garage once a week for each car. Moreover, a bonus of eight additional cars, part of the Formula Drift Cars pack, will be delivered to the garage for no additional cost.

Two Forza Horizon 5 Expansion Packs will add new game locations, more cars and gameplay features. The details as to what cars and features will be included in the Expansion Packs have yet to be announced.

Forza Horizon 5: Release date

Early access aside, players can start their next Horizon adventure in Mexico with Forza Horizon 5 available on 9th November 2021 for Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S and PC. It will also be available via Xbox Game Pass on the same day as its global release date.
