Horizon Forbidden West story and gameplay
In Horizon Forbidden West, Aloy will be accompanied by Varl and Erend, along with new allies like Zo, Alva, and Kotallo, to find the source of a mysterious plague that kills everyone infected by it.
While proceeding in her journey, she will encounter a storm of new threats, including Regalla, Sylens, his machinations, and more. The goal will be to save the dying planet by eradicating all the dangers from the world. You can have a look at the story trailer of Horizon Forbidden West below.
Aloy will have new tools, including Pullcaster to let her climb faster, Shieldwing to prevent fall damage, and Diving Mask to explore the world underwater. In addition to this, she will be getting big upgrades to her Focus, which now "shows areas that allow free-climbing and gives her the ability to override more machines for mounts or combat." Last but not least, she will also be getting a new set of combats to kill the enemies quickly.
Will Horizon Forbidden West come to PC?
Though Horizon Zero Dawn is available on PC, its sequel, i.e. Horizon Forbidden, is unlikely to arrive on this platform at least anytime soon.
"To maybe put a few minds at ease, releasing one first-party AAA title to PC doesn’t necessarily mean that every game now will come to PC," Herman Hulst, Head of PlayStation Worldwide Studios, said. "In my mind, Horizon Zero Dawn was just a great fit in this particular instance. We don’t have plans for day and date [PC releases], and we remain 100% committed to dedicated hardware."
