Dune Spice Wars - Steam early access, gameplay, features, and more

The Spice is within your reach but requires war to achieve in Dune Spice Wars. Dune Spice Wars is based on the hugely successful series Dune by science-fiction author Frank Herbert.

Players will be able to explore the harsh desert planet Arrakis as they increase their empire, engage in risky politics, and war with the other factions. Dune fans won’t want to miss out on the early access to the game.

The game was put into early access so that the developers could interact with the community to learn where the game needs improvements. The developer has expressed that the game will receive many updates, changes, and fixes throughout the early access to create a worthy Dune game.

Dune Spice Wars Early Access and Release Date

Dune Spice Wars has officially opened up for early access on 26 April 2022 and the developer has announced that the game will stay in early access anywhere from 9 to 12 months with a full release in 2023.

The game is currently only available for PC, but there is a small chance they bring it to consoles with optimized controls. Players can get into the early access using steam.

Dune Spice Wars Gameplay

Dune Spice Wars is a real-time strategy game where players can build forces, bases, and upgrade units to help you win the war over Spice. Players get to choose between the warring factions of Arrakis as they conquer the wasteland.

There will be a big risk of losing your units or Spice harvesters if you don’t watch for the signs of the giant sandworms. Being an RTS game, players will have to gather and properly manage their resources while implementing their strategy.

The maps for Dune Spice Wars will be generated differently for each match to provide different gaming experiences and players will be able to adjust all the environmental conditions.
