First 24 Characters Revealed For Dragon Ball Sparking! ZERO

Dragon Ball fans are hyped to jump back into the Budokai Tenkaichi series, often heralded as the pinnacle of DBZ fighting games. Now, with the upcoming Dragon Ball Sparking! ZERO, fans will once again be dominating as their favorite warriors — especially if your favorites are Goku and Vegeta. 

Bandai Namco have revealed the 24 characters that be will among the first to arrive in Dragon Ball Sparking! ZERO. At a glance, you might notice that the roster seems to comprise of the same two characters. But for Dragon Ball aficionados, you'll know there's a big difference between each one. The first 24 characters are as follows:

1. Goku (Z - Early)
2. Goku (Z - Mid)
3. Goku (Z - Mid), Super Saiyan
4. Goku (Z - End)
5. Goku (Z - End), Super Saiyan
6. Goku (Z - End), Super Saiyan 2
7. Goku (Z - End), Super Saiyan 3
8. Goku (Super)
9. Goku (Z - Mid), Super Saiyan
10. Goku (Super), Super Saiyan God
11. Goku (Super), Super Saiyan God Super Saiyan
12. Vegeta (Z - Scouter)
13. Great Ape Vegeta
14. Vegeta (Z - Early)
15. Vegeta (Z - Early), Super Saiyan
16. Super Vegeta
17. Vegeta (Z - End)
18. Vegeta (Z - End), Super Saiyan
19. Vegeta (Z - End), Super Saiyan 2
20. Majin Vegeta
21. Vegeta (Super)
22. Vegeta (Super), Super Saiyan
23. Vegeta (Super), Super Saiyan God
24. Vegeta (Super), Super Saiyan God Super Saiyan

That's 11 different forms for Goku, and 13 for Vegeta, including his Majin and Great Ape forms. If you've followed the series, through Z or Super, you'll know that each of these forms comes with a variety of different attacks and strengths. Vegeta (Z - Scouter), for example, won't have access to any Super Saiyan abilities — same with Goku (Z - Early). 

However, when the characters start getting into their Super era, e.g. Super Saiyan God Super Saiyan, we know things are gonna get silly in the best possible way. We'll be happily blasting Kamehamehas and Final Flashes for as long as possible, and no doubt our other Z-Warriors will be joing the fight in the future. Orange Piccolo, anyone? 

Dragon Ball Sparking! ZERO will be available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC.
