Dino Crisis Gets Long-Awaited PC Port

Dino Crisis fans have been holding their breath for remake or remaster for years, but despite the demand Capcom seemingly have no plans to give the original a modern makeover — but it's not all bad news. Both Dino Crisis and Dino Crisis 2 have been given PC ports over on GOG as part of GOG’s Preservation Program.

These ports feature all of the games' original content, now with a number of improvements for Windows 10/11. Both ports now offer new rendering options to support Windowed Mode, Gamma Correction, Anti-Aliasing, and more. In addition, players can also expect, among other features, improved DirectX game renderer, all localization options, and full controller support for modern controllers.

Dino Crisis was first released back in 1999 for the original PlayStation, with Dino Crisis 2 emerging just a year later. The last mainline entry was Dino Crisis 3, an Xbox exclusive back in 2003.
