Update: In a more recent guide, we've compiled the complete list of all Digital Monsters and Digivolutions in Digimon Survive.
Digimon Survive is a brand-new visual novel RPG published by Bandai Namco. The game was first announced during the 20th Anniversary event of the Digimon anime series and has garnered widespread excitement since its reveal. Despite multiple delays, the game was finally released on 28th July 2022.
Digimon Survive's plot follows a group of teenagers who embark on a school camping trip. However, things turn south upon visiting one of the local temples belonging to one of the Beast Gods, Kemonogami. The group is transported to a strange world of monsters and danger, where they must fend for themselves in their attempt to return home.

Takuma Momozuka and Agumon
Takuma is a typical 8th-grade high school student from your run-of-the-mill family. However, one day he finds himself thrown into another dimension by a mysterious force. Takuma's Digital Monster ally is Agumon (the digivolution of Koromon), a reptile monster that looks like a tiny dinosaur. Augmon first encounters Takuma in this bizarre new dimension.
Minoru Hyuuga and Falcomon
Minoru is a class clown and knows how to break the ice. However, he has a propensity to get a bit too excited and thus often gets into trouble. He also hides his fear with jokes and is partnered with Falcomon, a bird-type Digimon from the high mountains. Unlike Minoru, Falcomon features a strong, firm personality that balances out Minoru's clumsiness.
Aoi Shibuya and Labramon
Aoi is a 9th-grade class rep with a quiet and discreet personality. However, while she is calm in challenging situations and ready to cope with unreasonable requests from her classmates, Aoi is unreliable. Fortunately, she is balanced by her Digimon Labramon, a beast-type monster that looks like a dog.
Saki Kimishima and Floramon
Saki is a junior in the group and a natural optimist, even in the face of adversity. She is always honest and open in sharing her feelings with her friends. Floramon, a flower-type Digital Monster, is her ally and is otherwise a perfect match for Saki (her name also means "blossom" in Japanese).
Ryo Tominaga and Kunemon
Ryo is a third-year junior high student. He puts on a brave face but ultimately can't hide his fear of this new dimension. He is somewhat of a coward and is even scared of his own Digimon, Kunemon, a larva-type monster. Kunemon can't speak human language but understands what Ryo says and feels toward him.
Shuji Kayama and Lopmon
Shuji is a 10th-grade student and is thus the group's oldest member. He joined the camping trip primarily to avoid being pressured by his strict family, who have high expectations for him. His Digital Monster is Lopmon, a beast-type monster with three horns. Lopman is innocent, childish, and has a carefree attitude, a somewhat polar opposite trait of Shuji's personality and life vision.
Kaito Shinonome and Dracmon
Kaito is a local to the area and Miu's older brother. He hates anything that isn't fair, with a strong sense of justice. However, he quickly resorts to violence to solve his issues, especially if it involves protecting his beloved sister. Kaito's Digimon is Dracmon, a trickster who loves mischief but knows how to calm Kaito from acting too rashly and putting them in danger.
Miu Shinonome and Syakomon
As mentioned earlier, Miu is Kaito's younger sister. She's a mysterious local girl with a unique fascination with the occult. Her eccentric behavior can confuse people, especially when she speaks in riddles. Miu is good friends with her Digital Monster Syakomon, a crustacean monster-type with a practical personality and a ton of common sense. Together, they keep each other grounded.
In addition to the main characters, there are also supporting characters: The Professor, Miyuki, and Haru.
Digimon Survive launched worldwide on 28th July 2022 on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Microsoft Windows PC.
