Fans of the Diablo franchise have been anxiously awaiting new information on Diablo 4, which Blizzard revealed in September last year. However, reports suggest Diablo 4 on PS5 and Xbox Series X is very likely.
While there's still no release date, some raw gameplay footage has emerged as well.
Diablo 4 on PS5 and Xbox Series X
The official release platforms for Diablo 4 is PC, Xbox One, and PS4. A report from the International Business Times notes how many fans and gaming enthusiasts speculate Diablo 4 will release on PS5 and Xbox Series X as well.
This is due to the unknown release date of Diablo 4, which will likely be after the release of next-gen consoles. The PS5 and Xbox Series X is expected to release in "Holiday 2020".
GameRant speculates the game could release in 2021, and how it is very likely Diablo 4 could be revealed during the PS5 games showcase, which has been postponed for now.
At the time of writing, there is no official word from Blizzard. However, it is extremely likely we will see a PS5 and Xbox Series X port of Diablo 4. This could be after the game's release, or it could even launch of the PS5 and Xbox Series X, alongside current-gen consoles.
As always, take rumours and speculations such as this with a grain of salt.
