With its stylish presentation and action-packed gameplay, Devil May Cry 5 won the Best Action Game category at The Game Awards 2019. Further accolades include Best Visual Design at the 2019 Golden Joystick Awards and Award of Excellence at the Japan Game Awards.
Over on Metacritic, the game has an average critic score of 88 on PS4, 87 on Xbox One and 89 on PC. Therefore, it comes as no surprise that DMC 5 is the best-selling entry in the storied franchise to date. Capcom revealed that DMC 5 sold over 3.1 million units earlier this year.
The game is filled to the brim with excellent content and amazingly satisfying gameplay. It should take the average player roughly 15 hours to beat and dozens more to unlock all its contents. There's also a New Game Plus mode to dive into, making another playthrough very appealing. In short, DMC 5 is a must-play for franchise fans and newcomers alike.
