Blumhouse Games announced at Summer Game Fest today that they'll be the publishers behind a total of six new games, including:
- Crisol: Theater of Idols
- Fear the Spotlight
- Grave Seasons
- Project C
- The Simulation
- Sleep Awake
Fear the Spotlight is set to release later in 2024, and fans will get to check out the game's very first trailer later today, 7 June. Also of note, Project C is a project in collaboration with Half Mermaid Productions and will feature Brandon Cronenberg and Sam Barlow.
Blumhouse has made a name for itself in the world of film, creating countless horror films that have gone on to become classics since the studio was founded back in 2000. Recently, they created box office hit Five Nights at Freddy's (based on the iconic game franchise of the same name) and announced they'd be working on a Dead by Daylight film for Behaviour Interactive.
But Jason Blum announced at Summer Game Fest that Blumhouse Games has six projects in the works, suggesting that Blumhouse might be focusing on not just films going forward, but games too. Check out the trailer for yourself below:
Blumhouse hinted before the festival that fans would get to hear what's to come "from the new home of horror games," so fans expected some news - but few expected that we'd get as many as six new games from the new studio.
