Blumhouse Games To Reveal First Project At Summer Game Fest

Blumhouse Games will reveal details about its first project at Summer Games 2024, the studio hinted in a social media post. The project is almost certain to be a horror game - but specific details haven't been released quite yet.

"Tune in to #SummerGameFest this Friday to find out what's to come from the new home of horror games," the X/Twitter post from the Blumhouse team reads.

While Blumhouse Games might be a new endeavor for Blumhouse, the studio as a whole is no stranger to creating awesome horror productions. The studio's movie division is known for being the producer behind iconic horror films like Paranormal Activity, Insidious, Halloween, and, most recently, Five Nights at Freddy's. It's also currently working on a second FNAF movie, as well as a Dead by Daylight movie in collaboration with Behaviour Interactive.

There's no telling what Blumhouse Games will announce at Summer Game Fest 2024, but it's definitely exciting to hear that the producers behind some of the most iconic horror films are getting into creating video games of their own. Summer Games Fest 2024 takes place this Friday, 7 June 2024.
