The Bethesda.net Launcher will shut down on 11th May 2022, and players will need to move all of their games over to Steam in order to play them after that date. Bethesda will also cease selling their own games on their site starting 27th April in order to prepare for the move to Steam.

Bestheda.net Launcher shutting down
The Bethesda.net Launcher will be available until 11th May 2022, but players can start to move their games over to Steam starting 27th April.
Players could use the Bestheda.net Launcher for years to play iconic Bethesda games such as Ghostwire: Tokyo, DOOM Eternal, Fallout 76, and The Elder Scrolls.

According to Bethesda, players' game progress will not be affected when they move their games to Steam. Fans will also not lose any in-game items, purchases, or currency.
"We would like to thank you for your support and assure you that all of your games are safe," the developers said in a blog post.
How to migrate games from Bethesda.net Launcher to Steam
Starting 27th April, players will be able to move their files from the Bethesda.net Launcher to Steam. Bethesda has yet to release information about how to migrate game saves from the Beshesda.net Launcher to Steam. This information will be updated on 27th April 2022, when, according to Bethesda, "you will be able to begin migrating your Bethesda Launcher account to Steam by following the steps outlined in our migration tool."
What we do know is that players can earn special rewards in Fallout 76 for migrating early. Fans will need to migrate their account between 27th April and 11th May in order to receive 10 rank-ups on the Season 9 Scoreboard.
