Outer Wilds and Disco Elysium lead BAFTA Games Awards 2020 winners

Outer Wilds and Disco Elysium lead the winners of the BAFTA Games Awards 2020.

Hosted by Dara O’Briain in a YouTube livestream due to the coronavirus lockdown, the BAFTA Games Awards took on a different vibe this year.

While Death Stranding and Control had the most nominations going in, it was Disco Elysium and Outer Wilds who cleaned up the most - winning three awards each. 

Outer Wilds picked up the biggest prize of Best Game, along with Original Property and Game Design. 

Death Stranding and Control won one award each respectively, while Life Is Strange 2's Gonzalo Martin picked up Performer In A Leading Role - beating out stiff competition from the former two titles.

Hideo Kojima, creator of Metal Gear Solid and Death Stranding, also received the BAFTA Fellowship award, previously given to the likes of Shigeru Miyamoto, Gabe Newell, Tim Schafer and more.
