Ubisoft Launches Avatar: Frontiers Of Pandora's The Sky Breaker DLC

Heading into the global release of the action-adventure game Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora, Ubisoft confirmed that the game will receive a Season Pass included with the Gold and Ultimate game editions. The Season Pass, which can also be purchased separately for their preferred platform, adds a bonus story quest and two Story expansions, for which the first has officially been released.

The Sky Breaker DLC is the first post-launch story content for Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora, now available for Season Pass holders on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S as of 16th July 2024. Players will continue their adventures as they find a "yet-to-be-discovered area" in this thrilling new story.

Picking up their "Na'vi journey" following the main story's conclusion in Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora, The Sky Breaker DLC sees players facing familiar enemies as "a mysterious shadow" approaches and threatens the Na'vi clans during an auspicious festival. Players will set off to protect and rescue their allies as they travel to a brand new location, the Heart of the Plains; they'll come face-to-face with the RDA, who have come prepared with the AMP Defender, the DLC's new enemy archetype.

The Sky Breaker DLC will feature new side quests to complete, more in-game activities to enjoy, new biome variations and environments to explore. Speaking of activities, timed challenges were added with the DLC, which are part of the "great festival of games," and the Legendary rarity is available to players who've leveled up "to master crafter."

Those who have yet to experience Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora can enjoy a free game trial available between 16th and 28th July 2024 for consoles only. This lets players explore the Western Frontier until they've located the Hometree during the game's main questline or have played at least five hours of thrilling gameplay for free.

The second story expansion for Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora, Secrets of the Spires, will be released in the Fall of 2024, with a release date to be confirmed ahead of launch. Akin to The Sky Breaker DLC, it will only be available for the game's Season Pass, which is available on console and PC.
