ARK: Ultimate Survivor Edition - Release date, platforms, new features, more

Studio Wildcard is wrapping up all of its content with the release of ARK: Ultimate Survivor Edition, which they call the "definitive collection" that allows players to experience everything that ARK has to offer.

The ARK video game series embraces an open world, forcing players to survive after being stranded on an island, filled with dangers such as dinosaurs and other hostile humans. If you are a gamer with an appetite for adventure, you will absolutely love this game.

ARK: Ultimate Survivor Edition - Release date and platforms

ARK: Ultimate Survivor Edition will release on 19th November 2021 across all major platforms, including PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S, Windows PC, Linux, and Macintosh operating systems for £49.99.

On the game's Steam page, it says: "Tame and ride primaeval creatures as you explore savage lands, team up with other players to compete in epic tribal battles, and travel together on the greatest Dinosaur-filled adventure of all time."

All bundled features

According to the Steam Store page, ARK: The Ultimate Survivor Edition includes ARK: Survival Evolved and a slew of additional content valued at roughly £17, including:

• ARK: Scorched Earth - Expansion Pack
• ARK: Aberration - Expansion Pack
• ARK: Extinction - Expansion Pack
• ARK: Genesis Season Pass

The bundle will also include the following soundtracks

• ARK: Survival Evolved Original Soundtrack
• ARK: Expansion Packs Original Soundtrack
• ARK: Genesis Parts 1 & 2 Original Soundtracks

All of the included content has been updated and optimized with the latest improvements since the game's launch.

The developers promise that players will be able to enjoy "thousands of hours of gameplay" in ARK: The Ultimate Survivor Edition while conquering a range of environments, from the primordial island jungles to the futuristic gardens of an interstellar starship.

"Discover the hundreds of unique species roaming these lands, from the prehistoric to the fantastical, and learn how to befriend these creatures or to defeat them. Complete your collection of notes and dossiers left by past explorers to learn the surprising history of the ARKs," the Steam Store page also notes.
