Malaysian Valorant pro player for Paper Rex, Khalish "d4v41" Rusyaidee, revealed that he would not be able to compete in the Valorant Champions Tour (VCT) Masters after he failed to get a travel pass approved by the local government.
According to Malaysian travel law, a travel permit is required for all Malaysians travelling out of the country during the pandemic. The Paper Rex pro subsequently took to social media to explain his situation and pleaded with fans to assist him and quickly went viral on Twitter.

On the 25th of August, Khalish tweeted: "As you guys know I've qualified for VCT Masters Berlin" and explained that as a Malaysian, he needed a travel pass to exit the country. "But my travel pass hasn't been approved. I need your help to spread this and hope it reaches the right person", he added.

After asking for retweets, Khalish tagged the former Minister of Youth and Sports, Syed Saddiq, who swiftly reached out to him to offer his help. "Hey bro, can [you] DM me? I'll try to put you in touch with the Majlis Sukan Negara team," Syed replied.

Less than a day later, Khalish updated his fans to say that he was already working with the right people to get his travel pass approved. "As massive thank you to all of you that liked and shared the tweet," he said with gratitude.
After a further update that his travel pass was pending confirmation, Rhalish shared the good news that his travel pass was approved on the 30th of August.

Khalish will compete in the VCT Masters in Berlin on the 10th of September together with his Paper Rex teammates, Jason "f0rsakeN" Susanto and Kevin "xccurate" Susanto.
