Riot is wasting no time in burnishing Valorant's esport credentials with partnering with Twitch for the Twitch Rivals Launch Showdown, which will feature not one, but eight separate tournaments to be played over five days.
Each tournament will feature a different region, with the top teams advancing to the playoffs, with the winners taking home the lions share of the 0,000 prize pool.

It is all in celebration of the official June 2nd launch of Valorant which will see a new agent, Reyna, and map, likely to be Venice, for fans to get their teeth into.
To celebrate launch, weâre teaming with competitive FPS creators to hold a global tournament and crown 1 winning team from each region. Up for grabs is a $200,000 prize pool and the right to count themselves among the first global VALORANT champs. https://t.co/8KTOqeVsck
