Marved replaced TenZ in Sentinels for the fourth week of VCT Americas League 2023 and he is here to stay as Kaplan, the Head Coach of Sentinels' Valorant roster, has announced that he will be a part of the roster for the rest of the league.
"After the past weekend's results as well as a good talk with Tyson, we have made a decision to start Marved for the rest of the League Split," announced Kaplan.
This doesn't come as a shock after the great performance by Marved against LOUD and MIBR and with TenZ's personal situation right now. "Marved is here, and he is looking sharp as ever, so we are confident we can pick up right where we have left off with TenZ," said Kaplan. "Make no mistake, TenZ is not going anywhere. He is still a part of this team and will be with us for every step of the process."
He further added, "It is my top priority to win these next few games and make sure we bring the whole team to Tokyo and represent Americas in Masters."
This will give a much-needed rest to TenZ; however, it would be curious to see if Sentinels qualify for Valorant Masters Tokyo 2023, will the playing five look the same or not.
