Gambit and G2 Esports went head to head in VCT Masters Stage 3 semi-finals in Berlin to reserve a spot in the finals. After competing in a best of three games, Gambit beats G2 Esports by 2-0 to confirm their ticket to the finals, where they will go against the winner from other semi-finals' match for a spot in Valorant Champions.
Not only this, but Gambit Esports created history by becoming the first Valorant team to beat the opponents by 13-0. A majority of Valorant fans were expecting G2 Esports to dominate after they pulled off a fantastic show in the group stage against Sentinels.

The first map, Breeze, was neck and neck between G2 and Gambit Esports, in which both the teams were successful in turning the tables to their side just when the opponents started taking the lead. However, in the end, Gambit managed to win the map by 13-10.
The second map, i.e. Icebox, was G2 Esports' pick, and everyone was expecting them to beat the opponents easily after they thrashed Sentinels. However, Gambit turned the second game into a nightmare for G2 Esports that no one ever imagined. Gambit dominated Icebox, one of the strongest maps of G2 Esports from the beginning and with a fantastic performance from all the players in the team, they whitewashed G2 Esports ending their run in VCT Masters Berlin.
