A known anime leaker has leaked on Twitter that both a Ghost of Tsushima anime and a Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice anime could be coming soon.
Earlier in the week, leaker oecuf0 hinted that two samurai games could be receiving an anime adaptation through a series of cryptic emojis, and now they've confirmed that they were referring to both Ghost of Tsushima and Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice.
If true, this wouldn't be the first Ghost of Tsushima adaptation to be confirmed. Chad Stalheski, director of the John Wick movies, is attached to a live-action adaptation of the PlayStation-exclusive title. This would be the first adaptation of Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice, however, and the first adaptation of a game developed by FromSoftware.
Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice was released in 2019, and prior to Elden Ring was the latest game from the beloved developers. Ghost of Tsushima was released in 2020, and was developed by Sucker Punch exclusively for the PlayStation family of consoles.
It's possible that we could see confirmation of a Ghost of Tsushima anime next week during the upcoming PlayStation Showcase, or perhaps during the week in a press release from Sony.
