Yes, you will need an incredibly beefy system to play The Last of Us Part 1 on PC with everything maxed, and the minimum requirement of 16 GB RAM is a bit high, but not exactly unexpected.
The Last of Us Part 1 PC File Size
While the PC specs for TLOU Part 1 list 100 GB of free SSD storage space, the actual file size seems to be a bit lower. We have confirmed via preloading on Steam that the download size is 75 GB.
Keep in mind that the free SSD storage space requirement might be considering the installation process. It is always a good practice to have some additional free space available, after all.
