Texas Chain Saw Massacre will soon get an update, coming sometime in early February (in the "next 90 days"), featuring a new Victim, new Family Member, and a new gameplay mode. The upcoming update will be one of the game's most major updates since its release, featuring more than 150 patches.
The upcoming update, which was announced in a Gun Interactive Twitch stream, will include the following purchasable content:
- New Execution Packs
- New Weapon Skins
- New Cosmetics
- New Victim
- New Family Member
- “Shirtless Johnny” Outfit
The following free outfits will also be available:
- “Bride Sissy” Outfit
- New Map: The Mill
- Museum Mode to explore the family house
It's great to see that some of the new content is totally free, letting all players access the new map, new outfit, and new mode. Cosmetics, however, will cost you.
In addition to brand new content like the new Family Member and Victim, existing content will also see numerous changes. For example, Leatherface will be stealthier than ever before, and there will be various quality of life improvements. All of these patches will be released with the new content in early February, though no exact release date has been provided yet.
No word yet either on who the new Family Member and Victim will be, though it's likely we'll hear more information as the update's release date nears.
