Texas Chain Saw Massacre's newest Family Member, Hands, is here. The drag racing legend, who has some skeletons in his closet like all members of the Family, wields a hammer and can lock down areas using electrocuting traps. He's an original character by Gun Interactive, like many of the others in the game.
Gun Interactive teased Hands' introduction to the asymmetrical title all the way back in the middle of May with a video of the character's silhouette and a caption alluding to his name. However, the announcement was not made official until today.
“Being able to work with Kim Henkel to bring his original vision of Hands to life from his character bible has been both gratifying and amazing," said Ronnie Hobbs, Creative Director of Gun Interactive. "Honoring authenticity and adding more layers to the lore of The Texas Chain Saw Massacre has been a dream come true. I hope players will find him as terrifying and brutal as I do.”
Hands is voiced by Robert Mukes, who's known for his role in House of 1000 Corpses.
"I am so excited for folks to see what I brought to the table with Hands. The Texas Chain Saw Massacre is one of my all time favorite horror movies.. . It’s amazing that I now get to work with an IP that means so much to me," said Mukes.
Hands will be coming to Texas Chain Saw Massacre starting 11 June 2024. So far, nothing is known about the details of his ability aside from the basics of his power, which state that he can place electrocuting traps on locks and gates.
