In Gun Interactive's upcoming Texas Chain Saw Massacre asymmetrical horror game, which promises to be a faithful, accurate, and authentic adaptation of the iconic film, players can take on the role of a Victim or of one of the deadly members of the Slaughter family. Each member of the family has their own unique traits that benefit them, called Family abilities.
In this article, we'll list all of the Slaughter family members as well as their Family Abilities and how they can assist you in taking down Victims.
Texas Chain Saw Massacre Family Abilities
The Cook's Family Ability: Seek
The Seek ability, as the name implies, allows the Cook to seek out Victims and identify their locations. He can hear when Victims interact with certain objects, and when a sound is detected, he can determine their exact location.
The Cook's Bonus Ability: The Cook starts with three locks in his inventory that can be used to lock doors or crawl spaces, preventing Victims from easily escaping from them.
Sissy's Family Ability: Bane
The Bane ability lets Sissy craft poisons that she can use to her advantage. Poisons can be used to incapacitate Victims, or they can be used to infect objects, which will injure Victims if they interact with them.
Sissy's Bonus Ability: Sissy is agile and can use her ability to hide or take routes that others cannot, such as through tight hallways and gaps.
The Hitchhiker's Family Ability: Trap
The Hitchhiker's ability allows him to set up Traps around the map. When Victims fall into these Traps, the Hitchhiker will be alerted to their location, making it much easier for him to seek them out and attack.
The Hitchhiker's Bonus Ability: The Hitchhiker is fast and agile enough to chase Victims through tight crawlspaces.
Johnny's Family Ability: Hunt
Johnny's family ability lets him track down Victims by hunting them down through their footsteps. Anywhere a Victim goes, Johnny will know since he can follow their footsteps closely.
Johnny's Bonus Ability: Johnny can deal concussive hits that disorient Victims; he can also destroy doors and close off crawl spaces, closing off Victims' few methods of escape.
Leatherface's Family Ability: Hunt
If you've ever played Leatherface in Dead by Daylight or if you've seen the Texas Chain Saw Massacre movies, you can probably guess what Leatherface's ability is. He can use his iconic chainsaw to attack and rip apart Victims, making him one of the most formidable killers in the game.
Leatherface's Bonus Ability: Leatherface can destroy all types of barriers that put space between him and Victims, such as barricades, doors, and more.
