Still Wakes The Deep just got a new update featuring a new Silver Screen mode allowing players to experience a unique '30s look, along with chapter select.
The Silver Screen mode not only changes the visual aesthetics to monochrome, but also tweaks the gameplay - it effectively removes all of the yellow paint, forcing you to find your own ways out. This could offer a new layer of challenge for those who are familiar with the game.
"Silver Screen mode gives players the opportunity to experience the game in a stark monochrome, providing an even more cinematic and atmospheric experience," the developer dares. "See the Beira D in a new light as you fight to survive on the collapsing rig – no yellow paint in sight."
Chapter Select is another feature that'll no doubt be great for those who are already super familiar with Still Wakes The Deep. It splits the game up into 23 distinct chapters, allowing players to jump back into the action at any point or relive any moment of the journey they choose, without replaying Caz's whole story.
Still Wakes the Deep, along with its new update, is available for Xbox Series X|S, PC, and PS5. Players can toggle Silver Screen mode at any time from the Video section of the Settings menu.
