Starfield Preload Date & Time: When Can You Start Playing?

Are you wondering when Starfield will be available to preload? It's been a long road to the release, but Bethesda's upcoming space epic is finally not light years away. 

BGS recently revealed Starfield's system requirements as well as the whooping 125 GB of space it will take up on your system. Now, it has revealed when you can actually preload the game and prepare for takeoff on day one. 

Starfield Preload Date & Time

Starfield's preload on Xbox begins on 17 August 2023. On the other hand, Steam preload will be available on 30 August 2023, a day before the game's early access release. As of this writing, we don't know the exact timing, but it should be revealed soon. 

If you didn't know, Starfield's early access will be available only to players who pre-order the game's $100 Premium edition or the $300 Constellation Edition. Starfield will be available globally on 6 September 2023 for PC, Xbox Series X/S, and Xbox Game Pass.
