Starfield: All Romance Options

Exploring the farthest reaches of space in Starfield doesn't have to be a lonely experience, as you can always bring a companion on your adventures. Inviting them for expeditions, listening to their stories, flirting with them, and completing their story arcs can ultimately lead to romance and then marriage if you're the commitment type.

Every Character You Can Romance In Starfield

There are four main companions who you can romance and eventually marry in Starfield. These include the Constellation's headstrong leader Sarah Morgan, the cheeky Starship Engineer Barrett, the charming space cowboy Sam Coe, and the enigmatic Andreja. 

Sarah Morgan

The strong-willed Constellation leader is one of the first companions you can recruit in Starfield. Sarah becomes available to join your crew after completing the quest, "The Old Neighbourhood."

Sarah is deeply devoted to her role at Constellation, and making positive decisions related to it will always get you her approval. She's also immensely passionate about exploring the galaxy and has a deep sense of justice but prefers peaceful resolution instead of unprovoked violence. 

Sam Coe

If you think Sam Coe's voice sounds familiar, you're probably right. He's voiced by Elias Toufexis, who you may recall as the voice of Adam Jensen from the Deux Ex games. The endearing Space Cowboy is all about liberty and freedom. He's also a big softie, especially around his equally endearing daughter Cara. Sam can join your crew after finishing the quest, "The Empty Nest." 

Joining the Freestar Collective faction will keep you on his right side. Unlike Sarah, he won't bat an eye during standard space shenanigans but break the law, and he won't be too happy. The best way to gain his approval is by spending time with Cara and taking her side in conversations. 

Barrett

Barrett is the most laidback companion you can romance in Starfield. He's hilarious and a bit full of himself, so to romance him, you have to appreciate all his jokes during conversations. Choosing funny dialogue will also get you likes from him. Once you have finished the "Back to Vectera" quest, Barrett will be available to join your crew. 

Andreja

Andreja is the most mysterious Constellation member you can romance in Starfield. Unlike others, she won't dislike your morally gray actions like pickpocketing or stealing unless it's an ally. She has ties to House Va'ruun, so speaking in its favor will get you her stamp of approval. Andreja is available to join your crew after finishing the "Into the Unknown" quest. 

Can You Romance Multiple Characters In Starfield?

Yes, you can romance multiple characters in Starfield. However, you can only commit to one, which means you can only marry one of the four main companions.
