Jedi, Sith, Rebel, and all Galactic beings, the annual Star Wars Celebration event is returning in 2022, and as expected, there are plenty of adventures and activities for all to enjoy. Additionally, the convention will overlap the premiere of the Disney+ limited series Obi-Wan Kenobi and celebrate Star Wars Episode II – Attack of the Clones' 20th anniversary.
We can also expect to hear the latest updates and announcements regarding forthcoming Star Wars video game titles and maybe, a few surprise announcements incoming. Before we become one with the Force, we've outlined the convention dates, how to watch, what to expect, and more from the Star Wars Celebration event.

Star Wars Celebration 2022 – What to expect
2022 is looking to be a banner year for the Star Wars brand mainly due to the release of the LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga game and the upcoming premiere of the limited series, Obi-Wan Kenobi, on Disney+. Fans can expect more galactic news to be announced at the convention, undoubtedly surprising many attending and watching live.
On the gaming front, we can expect to hear more news regarding the success of LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga during the LEGO Star Wars panel on 27th May 2022. Other gaming properties like Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic Remake and the highly anticipated sequel to Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order are likely to appear throughout the convention, with a few more surprises possibly on the cards.

For the small screen, we can expect to receive the latest news and updates for new seasons of multiple Star Wars series, including The Mandalorian and The Bad Batch. Additionally, there are some announcements on forthcoming projects like Andor and Ahsoka, which the latter has just begun production.
Star Wars films have been relatively quiet, except for director/writer Taika Waititi's Star Wars project, confirmed during last year's Disney Investor's Day showcase. It remains unclear what film projects we can look forward to, but the Force may be strong, so do look out for possible film announcements.
