Star Wars Outlaws: How To Unlock The Jabba's Gambit Season Pass Quest

The Hutt Cartel is one of four syndicates Kay Vess must increase her standing with through the Reputation system in Star Wars Outlaws. This means that avid Star Wars fans will get to meet Jabba the Hutt once more; however, it will require them to unlock access to Tatooine before beginning the planet's quest to get acquainted with Jabba.

There is an opportunity to take on an additional mission called Jabba's Gambit, but to complete this quest will require access to some gameplay content. This guide will help fellow Scoundrels learn how to unlock the Jabba's Gambit quest for Star Wars Outlaws.

How To Unlock The Jabba's Gambit Season Pass Quest In Star Wars Outlaws?

Ubisoft unveiled details for the Star Wars Outlaws Season Pass, including plenty of content available at launch and post-launch. Of the content that was available at launch is a new exclusive quest, Jabba's Gambit, that is only accessible via the Season Pass, which is included in the game's Gold and Ultimate Editions and purchased separately.

This quest caused mass confusion due to its restriction behind a Season Pass, which a Ubisoft representative issued a statement via PCGamer to clarify. "The 'Jabba's Gambit' mission is an optional, additional mission with the Hutt Cartel along Kay and Nix's journey across the Outer Rim."

"This mission will be available to those who purchase the season pass or an edition of the game which includes the season pass." As such, while the mission may be optional, players are only obligated to complete this quest if they wish to acquire the Season Pass, which will add two story DLCs in the coming months.

Nevertheless, accessing the Jabba's Gambit quest does have a few unlock conditions that need to be met for those who own the Gold or Ultimate Editions or the Season Pass. Following the Hyperspace quest, players will be given the option to choose between three planets, Akiva, Kijimi, or Tatooine, as the next destination.

Choosing Tatooine will immediately start The Heavy quest once Kay lands on the planet and must progress until they unlock the Jabba's Favor quest, in which Kay must steal data for Jabba. The quest's completion will automatically unlock the Jabba's Gambit quest, which Kay returns to Toshara and speaks to Jabba's contact to track down a datapad.

Towards the quest's conclusion, Kay will be provided with two important choices to make; the first is upon entering Hyperspace, as she must decide whether to gun down or stand down against an Imperial aircraft. The next decision to make is returning to Jabba's Palace, where choosing between giving the Hutt the schematics found or keeping them as neither choice has an impact on Kay's reputation with the Hutts.
